Mrs Tsui - room 312

Welcome to a new school year! This is my second year at University High.  I am joining with five years of experience teaching at Norristown High School in Pennsylvania.  I have lived in the West LA area for the past year. Prior to starting my teaching career, I worked in the research and development division of a large international pharmaceutical company. I enjoy introducing students to chemistry concepts and encouraging their interests in the sciences, an area with lots of future career opportunities and academic possibilities. I have a bachelor degree from Chung Yuan University in Taiwan and two masters degrees in chemistry from Stevens Institute of Technology and in education from Chestnut Hill College.  This year, I'd like to utilize technology in the classroom by introducing Diigo, Padlet, and iMovie.  We are living in a globalized world today where it is more important than ever to learn a second language.  I am teaching General Chemistry, Mandarin I and Mandarin II.  I look forward to beginning a wonderful school year with you!
